Crema Di Gelato Sinfony - IMPERIA

Pistachio and nutella gelato was so delicious, service was good and gelato was worth of money. So yummy!!

There is no shortage of gelaterias in Imperia, and I'm sure everyone has their favorites. But this one has to be the classiest. Clean, bright, modern store. Great selection of very good gelato, as well as diet-killing desserts. Our hostess seemed to speak about as many languages as there were types of gelato. 2,30 euro per scoop, I believe. 2,50 for a double.

After tasting four places ice cream, i and my wife came to the following conclusion: Crema di gelato has the creamiest tasting ice cream of all. This means that it has a real cream taste and also it is the most dense thick. If you have made ice cream at home with real eggs and double cream you know what i mean with thick and full ice cream. The tastes offered are all great (we tasted zabaione, caramel, pistacchio, nociola, chocolate, lemon) which all were of the highest quality! One time the pistacchio had pieces in it (first time) but the next times not too bad, however no othe place offers pieces either. For a safe bet for a great italian gelato please do visit here first! However crema di gelati does not offer any seating! So only take away. For me, a pistacchio lover, I found a similar tasting, less creamy, ice cream close by that is 80 cents cheaper (2,30 vs 1,50 for the smallest coppa) so I went regularly there. However the other tastes of that place are below par and therefore I wont advertice that place... however for pistacchio lovers (and a nice pan dulce with piniones) the name of the place around the corner is Antiche Dolcezze.
