Food good .I had the best Ham & Cheese Toasted sandwich there last week, simple food I know but so often disappointing.Only improvement . in my opinion, would be in their style of Cappuccino, so often in Sydney these are no more than a flat white with a sprinkle of chocolate.
First time I've been here. The staff are really cheery and pleasant. The coffee, several types on offer,Was great. We decided to have a spot of lunch. Poached eggs and avocado for me, just $16 . It was full of flavour, loved it.My wife the Greek salad with smoked salmon, $17! This was great value. The only negative, celery in the Greek salad. Other than that excellent.
Having sat down and read the offering (mennu) we waited 10 minutes and no attention. Then I tried toget the attention of the waitress (no luck). Noticing that there were sticks with numbers next to the register I approached. The experience improved then and we ordered.Coffee is good, cinnamon on sour dough turned out to be cinnamon sugar sprinkled on sough dough toast (very sweet and less than interesting).it is provided you realise to order from the counter (though there are no signs or indications on the menu).
You'll find this social coffee spot just outside of Myer on level 2 of the Hurstville Westfield.
The recently renovated Miami Ice Cafe in Westfield Hurstville is my go-to spot, and their muffins are particularly delightful. The staff is always friendly and the food is delicious. I recently had the best ham and cheese toasted sandwich there. While the cappuccino could use some improvement in terms of authenticity, overall it is a great place to eat. I highly recommend it.
