We chose this place out of several identical restaurants because the lady came outside to greet us.The menu is huge! The service and food were good. It was only after we paid the bill (handwritten on oz lotto paper) that we bothered to check. She ripped is off on pretty much every item charging us 50c to $1 more than stated on the menu. I made the mistake of ordering an item from the pictures on the wall so she could charge whatever she wanted. We will not be back!

I tried the Seafood Clay Pot with Rice here, which a traditional Cantonese dish. It is a real clay pot with high temperature rather than an ornament, and you can hear the squeak clearly when it is served. The sound lasted over one minute and opened my appetite.I had a short chat with the owner, who is also the chef of the restaurant. He complained to me that he is suffering unhealthy competition from other restaurants down the street. But I don not think so.LoL. Although the dishes are amazing, the operating ways of him maybe not so proper, e.g., the outdated storefront, scattered messy picture-free menus and different prices between lunch and dinner time for the same dishes without prior announcement.I hope the owner can see my comment as I was embarrassed to tell him these during the chat. However, the smell and taste of the dishes here will let you ignore all the negative things above.

There are so many great choices of restaurant in Hurstville and I feel this is not one of them.The menu is too big with so many dishes that you start to wonder how they are keeping all the ingredients fresh. Then when the dishes come to the table they all seem the same. Plus they charged us dinner prices for what was supposed to be a lunch special. If you hand a customer a lunch special menu I believe you should charge them lunch prices as listed on that menu.I would not recomend.
