It's a winner. 99 Noodle Plus is your basic bare bones hole in the wall joint in Hurstville on Ormonde Parade, just near the train station. It's a hot day so we go for a simple noodle soup for rehydration and refreshment, with some light side dishes for flavour. Sweet and Sour Pickled Vegetables $3. Lettuce, cabbage and carrot briefly marinated in vinegar and sugar. So simple yet so tasty, so cool and refreshing on a stinking hot day. Been there five times, sometimes take away, sometimes dining. The service was good. Different types of rice noodles can satisfy all your needs for the day. Recommend!

Classic Cheap Eats. Absolutely nothing fancy or remotely redeeming about the decor or service but the menu is extensive, the pricing super inexpensive, the portions large and the flavours substantial. Expect nothing more than a good feed.

99 noodle plus in ormond rd hurstville is a very authentic noodle house specialising in all forms of rice noodles in particular. A clean fast serving place full of locals suggested it might be the real deal. It was. I was by myself so only sampled a rice noodle with pork ribs. It came with quail eggs mustard green in a tasty broth. All round me diners seemed very enthusiastic with various noodles. Price at 7.50 was excellent value.
