I'm pretty picky with my chilaquiles, so I was very pleasantly surprised with how delicious they were here. This is now my go to spot when I'm craving chilaquiles and I'm too lazy to make them myself haha. I prefer the red ones, but the green ones are greattoo! Definitely recommend if you're ever in the area!
The food here is quite tasty, and the staff is consistently friendly and attentive. However, I find the prices on the menu to be a bit too high for what you get. For a breakfast for three people, I end up spending around $70. For instance, I ordered three chilaquiles and three drinks, and my total came to $64, which seems excessive.
I had a very disappointing experience during my first and only visit to this restaurant. I ordered a chicken soup, and when I got home, I found only five garbanzo beans and what appeared to be white rice in the broth. I went back to buy a side of rice, but I was told they were closed. I was informed that the soup was Mexican-style, which would have been helpful to know before I purchased it. Typically, when I order caldo de pollo, it comes with vegetables, but that wasn't the case here. To make matters worse, I live just across the street, and the staff refused to sell me any rice. I didn't even end up drinking the $15 caldo.
I had the best chilaquiles I've ever tasted! The staff were incredibly friendly as well. I can't wait to return very soon!
