The Tally Ho - Hungerford

We ended up stopping here after our car broke down on the M4 (autistic toddler, newborn and a dog in tow) we managed to crawl off the motorway and found what I can only describe as heaven amongst absolute chaos. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and so understanding while we hung around waiting for the AA. I think most places would have kicked us out after an hour or so, especially during a time they would normally be closed between services but the staff looked after us and put no pressure on us to leave. We had the most delicious lunch followed by dessert, our toddler had colouring to keep him busy and the dog was allowed to be with us as well. Honestly can’t thank the staff enough for their kindness and hospitality during be a very stressful situation. Would definitely return and would recommend.

Do go, it's really worth popping in for a spot of lunch. Unpretentious and delicious food very well priced for the area. Staff were welcoming and attentive I mean what more can you ask for? Husband says it's the best Croque Madame out side of France he's had. We'll be back to taste more

Had to wait half an hour for our food. Asked for one small and one normal roast got 2 normal.

A really decent community owner pub, we were immediately welcomed and offered advice about the beer at the bar to provide good to see local beer. comfortable environment, light and airy in consideration of many periodical rays etc. the menu should offer something for everyone, expect British pub offerings such as fish and chips, ferger and maische, burger etc. to affordable parlors, including small and large teller for most main dishes. the food was well cooked, arrived on time and was good. I want to return to the near future.
