Both were very good but I particularly enjoyed the chowder. Could have had more fish in it but the broth was really good! Staff was very welcoming and friendly. Knew many patrons by name. Another good sign!!
My husband and I visiting Nova Scotia and stopped here on our way the the Shore Club. We had a extra time and needed a cup of tea. Because we were going for lobster dinner we did not dare eat. We left with some of their gigantic cookies and two used books with plans to return for lunch on our way back to the airport as it seemed like such a neat place and the menu was quite inviting.Never made it back as I broke my leg but the cookies were great.Loved the spot though and the staff were so friendly.
Cosy, locally owned and operated restaurant, offering a variety of comfort foods!Great, cheesy pizza with sweet sauce, burgers, fries, fish and chips as well as soup, sandwiches and lunch specials insure there is something for everyone. The service is fast, friendly and efficient. It is worth applying the brakes for the 4 Way Stop!
My husband is gluten free and dairy free and the owner who does the cooking to was very accommodating. The first restaurant on the South shore that really valued our visit. No complaints at all, we had breakfast and it was very good and the service was amazing! I highly reccommend it.
They have nice strong coffee. Your cup is refilled, hours later you wish you had more coffee. Food is the price of fast food but 5X better. They have a nice lobster sandwich platter and good lunch fish chowder. All in all a very reasonable lunch stop. Good Service, quiet environment. It is located next to grocery store about 3 minutes off exit 6 on the 103, an easy stop if you are traveling. Friends like the bread pudding.
