Sandi’s Kitchen Pastries - Horse Shoe

Lemon blueberry scones are definitely one of my favorites.

I stopped by for the first time to explore their menu. I had thought they offered light lunches and sandwiches, but when I inquired about the sandwiches, the friendly girl at the counter informed me that they only had baked goods. I was really craving something savory and was about to leave when I spotted a sign for Spinach and Cheese Focaccia. It was the only savory option among a tempting array of sweets. The girl at the counter asked if I wanted it warmed, but since I was taking it home, I declined. I'm glad I decided to give it a try. It wasn't the typical focaccia I’m used to; it was more like a cross between pizza crust and bread. The base was very flaky, reminiscent of a croissant, and it had a lattice crust on top of the same texture. The filling was a delightful mix of egg, spinach, and cheese, almost like a quiche. I will definitely consider trying it again.

The warm and inviting atmosphere really drew me in! I absolutely love this place—especially the coffee and, of course, the delicious cookies, cakes, donuts, scones, and everything else she bakes.

I absolutely adore Sandi's! I'll definitely need to visit for a full meal soon. I often swing by to treat myself to one of her freshly made scones, pastries, or cake slices—everything is consistently outstanding and incredibly fresh. Today, I felt like I had died and gone to heaven with the pumpkin cheesecake featuring a biscotti crumb crust. It was simply divine!

The sandwich was incredible! The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I will definitely return when I'm in the area again.
