Acropolis Pizza - Arden

I got a late night in town. Online easy ordered, was warmly welcomed when we arrived, and the order came out quickly. Additional bonus of free well seasoned garlic knots with any online order was a nice touch. Original supreme pizza was made with toppings and had a decent crust. I would definitely return. We had a positive overall experience.

Great food and lovely service. They have no dine-in, but we could get take-out and they brought it to us on the deck they had there, where we ate.

This five star review is for 2 things: 1 Acropolis' AMAZING calzone: so golden, fluffy, perfect crust to filling ratio, extravagant filling options (and the first five are free! , perfectly baked every time and 2 the friendliest, most personable front desk fella I've had the pleasure of interacting with in a while. The garlic knots are my favorite in town, too! Get you a takeout calzone and garlic knots, plus a side of marinara, and name your happy carb nap after me ; Heads up that at the time of this review (12 Mar 22 , there's no dine-in option. I want to eat my calzone like a goblin, in the privacy of my own home, so that's fine with me.

Take out only. Waited about 35 minutes for pizza and it was cold so it was ready for awhile before she got it. Wait person rather rude to us but knew a lot of people and was chatty with them. Pizza order was New York style but it wasn't the thin crust I was expecting. Toppings haphazard one slice had too much meat, another had no meat but ton of onions, a few slices had a ton of cheese, others lacking in cheese. Taste was actually ok, despite all of this. Expect to pay $25 for large (as if this writing)and expect less, you'll not be disappointed then.
