Top of the Cove Restaurant

We dined there a few weeks ago with another couple. When we arrived we were greeted by our server and asked to be seated on the deck outside. We received our drinks quickly and proceeded to order some appetizers to share. We had the calamari and a caesar salad to start and both were excellent. I ordered the burger and my wife ordered the fish and chips. The burger was cooked perfectly and tasted great. The fries were crisp and yummy. I tried some of my wife's tartar sauce on a fry and wow, very good! The couple we were with both ordered the pickerel and raved about it. We had a lovely evening and very much enjoyed watching the sun go down over the bay as we finished our drinks. We will certainly be back next year!

This is higher end dining right on georgian bay. We didn't expect to find a fancy restaurant in the area, but this one is quite fancy. It has a high end restaurant dinner menu. The food was very tasty, but the portions were rather small even though the price was rather high. Nice views of the marina.

I dined here for lunch with 5 friends. The young server was excellent, pleasant, personable and knowledgeable. Most had the fish and chips, I had the beef dip sandwich. all lunches were very good.The Fries were excellent. We sat on the deck overlooking the marina. great way to spend a few hours in the afternoon. I'm told that the sunsets are awesome.

Great new chef, fresh homemade food and an incredible place to stay for the summer. Great staff and amazing views. Lake of bays on tap and a cool cocktail list. Looking forward to our next meal.

Don't be fooled by the nice view!! We were a group of 6 for dinner a few weeks ago and our experience was a negative one. We ordered a beet salad which was not at all what the menu described. It didn't have cashews, feta, lettuce or peppers as we ordered. When we told the server( who was very young and sweet) she said oh... ya we changed the food a bit?? Also a friend orderd pasta with white wine sauce and it was so dry with hardly any sauce and a few small shrimp. They argued with us that it did have sauce but we could see how dry it was in the bowl. The prices were very high for what we got as well Salads 12$ and avg entree 32. Not worth it!! The manager would not come out to speak to us about the situation. When I wrote to him, he didn't apologize and said that we should probably find another restaurant next time we're in town. This is the worst customer service I have EVER had at a restaurant. He did not address the fact that the menu did not match the food or try to make the situation better and more pleasant the next time. My friend was also sick the next day and said that the lamb was undercooked!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY THERE!! Next time we go up, we will have our own BBQ at the cottage!! Thank you,
