I hadn't heard about Homeslice yet, but after I had given it an attempt, it's now the place I definitely want to come back to when I'm back in town! This sweet little spot on the Spit has a welcoming atmosphere and offers fantastic and surprisingly fast food to go on or off. The veggie calzone was one of the best I've ever had, and I'm kind of obsessed with Calzone. It loved that it’s cream cheese, as well as spinach, mushrooms, artichokes and a pesto sauce that I overheard describe to another customer as so tasty they would only drink like a drink (can’t blame them! We also tried the sandwich, a Halibut-Po’boy and I was again super impressed. The fish managed to taste light and was perfectly seasoned, only a touch of salt and pepper and nothing to get fresh in the way of quality. Greens were a step above your average sandwich salad, the bread was perfect for a Po'boy, but the real standout was the sauce, with its full taste and perfect balance. Servers were also really nice and my food came out quickly – cannot wait to come back to Homeslice! Homer has a new kind of pizza!!
Pizza was tasty, but also very fat (probably a big reason why it was delicious) we ordered the homeslice and enjoyed it quite. The food took quite a long time to come to us, but they were pretty busy so this was not a surprise. The Toffe Brownie we met for dessert. We would eat here again if Pizza was what we were looking for in the future.
Pizza was decent. A little greasy but not bad. Service was OK. It was the only place around open past 8pm
It was great and was wanting it today but they are closed for the season. On the door it says headed back to college. Good for them but wish they had someone still working.
What a fabulous dinner! From drinks to desert it was ALL wonderful
