Homestead - Homer

When in Homer One MUST Visit the Homestead! Formally rustic dining at it 's finest!

The food was awesome. The staff worked hard to accomade a group 8 without notice

They advertised 2 for 1 appetizers and that is why we went. We tried this restaurant 4 yrs. ago and wasn't all that great then that is why we didn't come back. So we thought we would give it another try and it was still pretty much the same thing. Although I did get a hair in my appetizer which was off putting. They brought me another app but everyone was finished eating by the time it got there!! I was not overly impressed with the food and the decor has not changed at all since the last time we were there.

Decided to drive to Homer for the day and had always heard about the Homestead but never been there...so made reservations on the way...wasn't disappointed...the food was excellent.

If you are a visitor to the Homer area, this restaurant should be on your must dine list. And if you can get a window seat your experience will have an additional WOW factor.
