Excellent service delicious pizza. North of Holmen about 20 minutes, nice ride on newer roads. They are proud of their pizza with local source toppings.

We have been here numerous times. We have gone through changes in management, ownership-bottom line, don’t care. Give us a good drink, decent food and in a timely fashion.WELL, NO MORE. After tonight, we are done.Didn’t get a salad with the fish dinner, the sauce for the shrimp came in a little plastic container that looked liked it was used for a previous customer, not sure what it the issue here, but someone with skill needs to buy this place. It’s a gold mine for someone that knows how to run a restaurant!!!!0

Apparently Black Oak is under new ownership or new management, and there are new staff. We used to love coming here for the great atmosphere, great service and the great food. Last two visits within the past month were disappointing. All staff seem to have difficulty communicating with patrons, from getting drink and food orders to keeping customers informed of issues or delays in the kitchen. Our party of 6 waited almost 2 hours for our food order. Our initial drink order was brought, and then our appetizers, but no one checked in with us at all to refresh our drinks. My cousin's wife had to go to the bar (which only had 2 people sitting at it and there were open tables in the dining area) to get more wine. It would have been nice to get our drinks comped due to the unexplained delay for our food. Too bad about the service, because the food really is great. We're not planning to return.
