Touch of Asia - Hobart

If I could give this restaurant 0 stars I would. Absolutely appalling service. Expensive for the quality/size of the meal. One of our group specifically requested a vegan meal and found small pieces of meat throughout it halfway through the meal.  They lied and said it was onion and later admitted it was meat. Then their excuse was that the wok was not clean. They then proceeded to be incredibly rude, raising their voices and told us to tell the police then. Absolutely disgusted.

Excellent - This is a leading Asian style restaurant in hobart, it well priced for family meals. The meals are cook with fresh ingredients. An excellent variety of huge list of cooked meals are available from the menu. We are a family with 2 young boys and we all had a wonder meal. Very authentic, and the staff are always friendly. This will not disappoint.

If some one ask me is Touch of Asia a good restaurant for eat in or take away, My answer will be No No please dont. Its so terrible experience. The boss was so rude, they dont even allow a five years old kid bring chips inside, while the other customers came in by a group of 7 people (including 1 kid). I was having a stir fry noodle.. so tasteless, a bit pricy, I was so hungry but I could not even finish half of the meal. And didnt mention about stomachache afterwards, The manager/owner/boss (whatever) is so arrogant and so rude..

At the end of a weekend stay in Hobart our family decided to order a take away meal. I was a little disappointed to find that one of my favourite restaurants was closed on Sunday night, then discovered Touch of Asia in the same area. All of our dishes were cooked to order from the menu and although we had a slight wait, our large order was ready in less than 15minutes. The various dishes were nothing out of the ordinary, however, the food was quite tasty. Service, was pleasant and friendly.I would eat here again for a quick meal or takeaway.

A nice selection of tasty well cooked food. Some dishes are served buffet style and some cooked to order. This restaurant offers exceptional value for money
