The Westend Pumphouse - Hobart

Had inspired here a really fantastic food in a great storage in a large camp. There is a separate restaurant and bar. I had several side dishes and a curry shared - all amazing! Brussels sprout the best I've ever had. Delicious.

Eclectic menu is very good at reasonable prices. Loved the staff and their excellent service. We very enjoyed the small plates and cocktails. Good beer selection too. Highly recommended if you visit Hobart.

Really great food, mocha and service! I had the Lammtakos and they were great !!! I would come back when I visited Hobart again. Check it!

Posted in the morning on a Wednesday @ 5.30 pm, space was empty. Parking was easy. We sat immediately and from then on the service was impeccable! Grief The kitchen was modern Australian Asian woman with a refreshed take. Excellent presentation and aromas were fantastic! Grief We enjoyed 6 small plates to share between three, which was more than enough! Grief All in all a great experience that exceeded all expectations! Grief Well done to the crew, we will come back!

I'd eaten here previously but decided to have a quick lunch with girlfriends. I ordered the salt and pepper squid which I couldn't eat. The salad was mushy and the salt & pepper coating off the squid instead of on it. It was partially cooked in parts which makes me feel ill. The Ninth Island Rose was lovely. The Maitre de was defensive and rude. Two out of three of us sent our squid back. His comment was that, 'well I've served 20 others today with no issue'. He charged us for it. Mmmm won't be back..short sighted and rude.
