Sawak Cafe - Hobart

We really enjoyed our dinner here - we tried the chicken wings, roti canai, char kway teow and nasi lemak and it was all good.

Even though there are a lot of Malaysian restaurants in Sydney, I was surprised to find one in Hobart.

Had trouble getting a reservation at Urban Greek or Shamrock, so our friends and us decided to introduce ourselves to Malaysian food at Sawak.

What an awesome book shop. Lovely atmosphere, almost like a really classy library. They have an internal Cafe as well so you can sit down and read while sipping or snacking. Huge range, reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

Flagship bookshop of Tasmania. Amazing range of books, not as extensive as dymocks but offer all the essentials and numerous friendly staff. It is also a great lunch spot and cafe. Combines the comfort of a warm meal with pleasure of diving into a new book. The store itself evokes smells of winter soup and brand new paperbacks, enticing and inviting.
