Prince of Wales Hotel - Hobart

The best meal I have had for a long time. All food was cooked to perfection and although we couldn't really fit in dessert we had to order. We were certainly not disappointed with any of the meal.The staff were helpful, friendly and most importantly happy. The meat was so tender and melted when you ate it. Dessert was just as good... the sundae was huge and my daughter struggled to get through it.

Friendly staff and nice atmosphere along with great value meals, accompanied by a range of local beers. What more could you want? ;)

Undoubtably my favourite venue for a parmi. Regardless of the chips underneath or on the side debate the price you pay for this meal is remarkable. Salad, sauce, cheese, ham chips and a healthy sized chicken breast for $12.50!! Although this is only on the bar menu it's definitely worth sitting in there. The vibes are good and there is adequate seating for a meal whether it be of an evening after work, pre drinks before town or a cheap quick date night meal. Make sure you get there early though as the tables (inside and out) and couches and bar top are occupied quickly. Live music multiple times a week mainly on weekends. The staff are friendly and the wait for food isn't overly long. There are many other options on the bar menu for example chicken wings and nachos just to name a few. The restaurant has a separate menu and is quite expensive for the what I feel is basically the same food.

Steak was very nice, despite a large attendance, service was good, without undue delay. Would visit here again if we return to Hobart.

The rooms were fine not fancy , clean and tidy Even had a continental brekkie, good staff. The meals in the bar were great value, $10 for a T Bone steak chips and salad and it was great
