Salam - Hillsboro

Had zereshk polo with dark chicken! It was a bit different from the conventional dish I’m used to, in a way that it wasn’t made in tomato sauce, but pretty damn delicious. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming and the service fantastic! Looking forward to more delicious meals there!

There was good food and a good vibe here. Not fancy. Watching the flatbread in the oven is also nice.

I have found this restaurant to make the best hummus around the area.

What a really nice find. Authentic dishes, beautifully prepared. The lamb shawarma was so tender. Not shaved meat, but tender pieces. The tabouleh salad was fresh and tangy just as it should be. The freshly baked bread straight from the open fired oven was a wonder in itself. Like a soft puffed up pillow. Service was fast, efficient, and with a smile I’ll definitely be back.
