While service sometimes in inaccurate...and carry out meals tend to always have something missing... the food, while nothing fancy..is well prepared comfort food...and Momma's is probably the best comfort food restaurant in Hillsboro! Best breakfast in Highland County hands down!

I discovered this restaurant on my way home from Serpent Mound, and I was pleasantly surprised. The service was delightful, and it offered the best home-cooked meal I've had in a small restaurant setting. The decor is charming and impeccably clean. I had the baked steak with mashed potatoes, which was perfect, as well as the fried shrimp, enormous burgers, and excellent salads. And don't miss out on the cherry cobbler; it's a must-try! You won't find anything better for miles around.

Went in Friday morning for the special Farmers breakfast Delecious and the large portions set you up for the day very good.

During our family reunion in the area, we decided to grab a bite to eat downtown and stumbled upon Mama's! I ordered the Fiesta Salad topped with grilled chicken, fresh vegetables, and homemade ranch dressing, and it was absolutely delicious! I also tried the homemade salmon patty dinner, which was fantastic as well. I highly recommend this place and can't wait to visit again!
