The food here is quite good. I appreciate the option to customize dishes with their own spices and cilantro. However, the burritos are disappointing; they’re either too small or lack sufficient filling.
This was my first time eating at Tacos Beto. I usually go on Thursdays to the lunch truck when I’m working in Oxnard, and honestly, I often see it without any customers. However, I decided to give it a try and stop by to eat something. I really wanted to sample their birria tacos, which are prominently advertised on the food truck. But when I approached the window to order, I noticed a sign that said they only accept cash, and I only had $13 on me. Unfortunately, their menu didn't display any prices. They had a special for three quesabirria tacos, one consome, and a can of soda for $15, which meant I was $2 short. So, I opted for an asada burrito instead. It was quite tasty—the rice was fresh, though the meat was a bit chewy, but it had good flavor. Next time, I’ll definitely try the birria tacos.
Actually, I don't even know if they deserve two stars. over price for the 3 super burnt taco combo with consome. I tried to eat all three, but only two for the cured taste. but the orchata was okay. the burrito de cabeza was bland. please save her money and go somewhere else. I would recommend juarez tacos about these many paintings. this place is bare money only prepared to come. they have a lot of affection to help themselves (ah covid? I'm sorry I tried to give them a chance.
The food is still great here. The customer service has gone downhill if the lady is working the register I'd just skip this place. She was rude and didn't make any attempt to grab toppings when we asked for things we usually get every time.
