Oyatsupan Bakers - Beaverton

I stumbled upon this place on a whim on the morning of 06/17/17. Has no idea it was a Japanese bakery as I approached. Of course I was more focused on my 6 yr olds random story of the minute at the time. Upon entering, my daughter gravitated to the front facing pastry counter display. I then began to look around and realize just what kind of a gem I had stumbled into. The gal working the counter greeted in a soft spoken, yet pleasant manner, informing me that if I had any questions to feel free to let her know. Me being me though, I just wanted to snoop about first and absorb and process the environment first. From there, I watched guests pick up a self service tray, and begin selecting from the various puff, pastry, and sweet roll options on display along the wall of goodness. It was at this point that I realized my 6 yr old had the place worked out as she got herself a tray and tongs. Together we selected some cocoa puffs that watch you stroll by, a couple cream puffs, a cocoa filled croissant, and a cocoa banana coconut on croissant pastry. To which we made my wives and daughters morning. Simply put, this place deserves your attention. Even if you choose not to dine. You will not regret it.

Popped by for a little lunch for myself since i was sans children feasted on a gruyere prosciutto croissant so delish i wished i had myself 2. finished off with a dreamy cream puff. i had wanted to try the oyatsupan dog but they were all sold out. at 11am! oh well, guess I'll have to go back

First time ever and it was wonderful experience. So glad I found out about from a friend. Pastries deliecious and reasonably priced and the staff was so kind and inviting, will definitely come again

I was there for the grand opening everyone was grabbing so many pastries, but I had to get just three so I can come back again for more! I got the matcha melon pan, melon pan, An pan (red bean and shokupan. The shokupan was *so* soft with such good flavor, and everything else was so tender with a nice surface texture. Can't wait to come back for more. Will you carry cakes in the future? If you ever offer a Gateaux Fraise, I will forever be a fan (I miss Amandine Patisserie from back home in Los Angeles! .

Delicious pastries, well worth the price! I will definitely bring all my friends family here!
