Prairie Berry Winery - Hill City

The staff is wonderful, and the food is delicious! It's conveniently located next to a brewery, so there's something for everyone to enjoy. They also offer a great selection of cheeses. Outside, there are lovely terrace areas and court games to play.

We had a lovely time at this charming winery. The wine tasting was enjoyable, and the wines themselves were excellent. I savored a delicious frozen drink (something or another ****) while sitting outdoors, taking in the stunning view. It’s a great place to unwind. Our server, Brand, was not only attractive but also very knowledgeable about the wines. I also appreciated the history behind the square.

The Prairie Berry Winery is a great afternoon destination while traveling through the Black Hills area. They've really set it up well with abundant outdoor seating in multiple locations, tasting room, kitchen, bar, game/play outdoor area, and a shop with merch, wines (of course), and grab and go eats. I did a wine flight with the sandwich and salad lunch combo. I personally didn't love the wines I tried, but the food was fantastic, and affordably priced for the portion size. I also grabbed some SD local cheese, meat sticks, curds for later hiking/picnicking, which was great. The employees I encountered were friendly and I would definitely reco this as a stop for friends passing through the area.

A beautiful location, with a large selection of weeping, made by a weeping farmer of the fifth generation, gourmet food and a very helpful staff. we had a wonderful, relaxing time. thank you. chad to help us with tasting.

The building and winery are absolutely beautiful. We tried a few wine flights along with some sandwiches, and both were excellent. The staff was friendly, making the experience even better. It's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.
