Tuckers Inn, Invergordon - Highland

We had a takeaway dinner for three from Tuckers Inn and it was flawless. The food was delicious and the woman who took our order over the phone was extremely helpful.

A place worth recommending. very nice staff, tasty food, nice and warm rooms. Co-op 2min walk. highly recommend

The hotel itself was fine, but we were disappointed with the service provided by the two staff members working during our stay. We did not receive a friendly welcome at check-in, and when we indicated that we wanted to have dinner at the hotel, we were told to come back at 7:30pm without a reservation. When we returned at the specified time, we felt like we were bothering the staff by asking for our table, which was not reserved for us. The staff seemed irritated when we mentioned that we were instructed to come at that time. Despite the busy night with a large party in the dining room, the staff made negative comments about the hotel and their jobs in front of guests while clearing plates. Additionally, we were not asked if our meal was satisfactory or if we wanted dessert or more drinks. After waiting 20 minutes post-meal, we decided to settle the bill and return to our room. Other guests at breakfast the next morning also expressed dissatisfaction with the previous night's service. They were served their main course and one drink, then told to leave when the lights were turned off at the bar at 9pm. When they requested another drink, they were denied as the staff were about to finish for the night, and they were not even given the opportunity to pay for their food. Overall, the hotel is ok, but the service leaves much to be desired. Cannot recommend.

Excellent views over the firth. Good menu selections, large portions well prepared, cooked and presented. Staff friendly, professional and engaging. Only downside for me was the seating, the majority of which had seen better days and were particularly uncomfortable.

Had haddock and chips I’m a chef for 30 years oil needed changed when I tasted it my partner had macaroni it was cheesy which he likes so loved it sadly I didn’t like mine hence why I would go back restaurant is dated where we sitting the blinds had water marks on them no photos sadly then entrance is dirty as in the carpet it’s embarrassing who ever owns this needs to have look at what customers see I seen over 20/40 things wrong
