My...just slight negatiw, and I still give it 5 stars, is that burger additions like cheese etc. are £2 that ever appear a tad steep. but was a good burger!
Annual visit in the classroom. absolutely fantastic eating and drinking, personal are very friendly and the steak is highly recommended, the classroom is our favorite restaurant in nairn and can not wait until back in the oktober
We had a great meal in the classroom when we visited nairn in november and, back in nairn im april, we were trying to revisit. we were not disappointed nor nice freshly cooked food, good choice of wine and drinks and friendly, pleasant service. the restaurant is very popular.
We had a nice meal and my son had tomato paste. we asked to add grated cheese and that was done without problems. then the bill arrived and to my surprise were added £1.25 for pleasure. we have taken a nice meal and we didn't want to disappoint.
After visiting Nairn regularly for the last 7 years, we have tried unsuccessfully to get a table at the Classrom for one reason or another. This week, I managed to book a table for Monday night. We arrived early to have a cocktail, which was...delicious. We got to our table at 7pm to be told that 2 items were unavailable, I’d already chosen one of those items, the waitress told me there was actually 1 portion left in the kitchen. I ordered the chicken with couscous and sweet potatoes and my husband a burger. All the surrounding tables were being served, but after 40 minutes we still hadn’t, the waitress told us there were only 2 people in the kitchen and our food was being plated up…another 10 minutes and it came…plates so hot we couldn’t touch them..food so dried out and sweet potatoes burnt black…I was so disappointed, I’d been waiting years to come here. My husband told them the food was inedible and that we were leaving..he asked for the bill but was told there would be no bill. A total waste of 2 hours and by the time we walked back to our hotel, the restaurant was closed…very hungry by now. Nairn isn’t big enough to have bad food served..won’t be back.
