Coffee, Cakes, Clothing And Other Yummy Things

I have been a loyal customer of the Pottery restaurant for over 22 years and have introduced many friends and colleagues to their delicious cakes. However, I was disappointed on my last visit to find that they had introduced loud and unpleasant music. This completely ruined the atmosphere for me. Who visiting the Highlands wants to listen to loud, irrelevant noise? Unfortunately, unless this change is reversed, I will no longer be a regular customer and will be discouraging my friends from visiting as well.

The coffee at this restaurant is delightful, the shortbread is delicious, the toilets are very clean, and there is plenty of good parking available. It makes for a great pit stop on the way back from a holiday in the Islands. Additionally, they have beautifully crafted blankets for sale in the shop.

My husband and I have been to many restaurants, and I have to say, the toasties here are the best we've ever had. The carrot cake is also top-notch. The lady who served us was delightful, and the young lad working there had a great sense of humor - it was a pleasure to meet him.

Most impressed. Only had a coffee but really nice. Great atmosphere and very friendly staff. Good parking. I shall return ASAP

We had been on the road a couple of hours and were desperate for a caffeine and break but didn't expect to find anywhere for a stop. We were delighted when we came across this spot, almost worth it just for the setting alone! we sat outside in the sun and had tasty coffee and baked goods. There was also a dairy free and vegan cake option and dairy free milk alternatives. my friend had a scone which was very good. We didn't get any other food but there were things like soup and sandwiches on the menu, and vegan options (and delicious smells as we were leaving! The guy who served us was friendly and efficient. Highly recommend.
