Newtonmore Grill - Highland

Cracking meal with cracking staff. Enjoyed the views and loved the silence of the night parking handy outside toilet for the dark hours

I have to say that this restaurant is outstanding. The service was great, the young lady who served us was lovely. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever eaten. It soon got busy so it must be very popular with visitors and locals. Looking forward to many return visits.

We were staying in an Airbnb in Newtonmore for a short holiday and came across the Grill while we were out walking and looking for a coffee stop. We had passed it on our way to the village and I looked at the reviews on Trip Advisor and they were very good so we had no hesitation in trying it. Sufficient to say we made two other visits as we found the staff extremely friendly also the quality of the food very good. Coffee came in a large mug and was piping hot, rolls were fresh and the fillings were plentiful. It became busy with some truckers and other tourists but no one had to wait to be served as the staff coped very well. The tables were kept spotless between customers and there is a large parking area. I would advise anyone travelling up or down the A9 to turn off at the signs for Newtonmore and you will find this delightful restaurant to the south of the village.

Really friendly place, good value and good quality. Copes well when busy and dog friendly. Been here for both breakfast and evening meals and all excellent. Has a range of very nice flavoured ice creams!
