One thing to note for tourists is that this udon shop gives off a sense of familiarity that makes you want to come back every day, so be aware that you may not experience something extraordinary. The noodles here are the best. While there are many bold flavors out there, it seems that people always come back to simple, honest tastes. I want to eat here again.
I was asked if I wanted a small size when ordering handmade udon, but since there was a 150 yen extra charge for a large size, I requested a medium tempura udon instead. To my surprise, the portion was huge! This was my first time trying udon here and it was delicious, with a wide variety of options and reasonable prices.
A long-established udon restaurant near Sanbonsyo, Kitsune udon and oden are truly exceptional. The head chef, who is like a legendary general, is fantastic, but one of the middle-aged female staff members is the worst. She rushes you and speaks quickly, and even though you have already placed your order, she asks the same thing three times, which is surprising. She also brings out piping hot udon in a rush, giving off a creepy vibe. However, the taste of the udon and oden, as well as the personality of the head chef, are outstanding, so you end up coming back despite the shortcomings.
香川県にに旅行に来ています。高松市内に宿泊し、鳴門の渦潮を見に行った帰りに寄り、美味しかったので後日白鳥動物園へ行った際にも帰りに寄りました。 うどん美味しいです うどんが好きで香川県に来ると色々なうどんやさんに行きますが、ここはうどんも出汁も美味しいです。 うどんはこしがあり、口にいれるとうどんのおいしさを感じられます。 出汁もおいしくて全部飲んでしまいたい…ですが、ここは普通サイズでも量が多めです。 息子は大盛りにしましたがかなりのボリュームでした。 おでんもおいしかったです
