The 8.5 Half Chicken, Rice, and Beans is absolutely amazing!

The picada was basically just sausage and potatoes—no meat, no chicken, no arepas at all. It's ridiculous!

Everything I ordered was incredibly fresh and delicious!

I've been in this area for a week, and until I discovered this restaurant, I hadn't found a place worth returning to. They have an extensive menu with delicious chicken and excellent rice, and the fries are fantastic. Not only is the food top-notch, but the service is exceptional as well. I'll definitely be coming back! I ordered the quarter chicken with white rice and fries. It's a simple dish, but they nailed it perfectly. Great job, Pollo Riko!

For anyone who enjoyed the place under the original owner, please let me know if there's an alternate spot for authentic Kokoriko-style chicken! I'm just being honest; the staff was really nice, but I can’t recommend food that doesn't taste good just to be polite. That wouldn't be fair to others looking for an authentic experience. This restaurant has the potential to regain its former glory if they return to the original methods for seasoning and preparing the chicken. Just because there’s a new owner doesn’t mean they should compromise on the ingredients! I truly hope it can go back to being the best.
