Johnson Road Burger Shack - Hermanville

Absolutely without hesitation in saying one of the best burgers available. Great quality food with an even better price. This place will not break the bank and excellent value for money. Staff are friendly and offer really good service. The place itself is clean tidy and looks modern. My advice is to definitely give these guys a go. I've worked in kitchens as a chef for over 13 years trust me when I say this is a good burger.

I was disappointed. Ate a burger here few years ago (when it first opened) where they made their own burgers and was outstanding. Ordered again today and my double shack burger looks nothing like the picture on Facebook. No cheese and no pickle and the stalky bits of an iceberg lettuce. Lot of corners cut here that makes for a very disappointing takeaway. I award 2 stars rather than one as my wife had a OK Hawaiian chicken burger and our kid seemed to like the kids chicken burger (although way too much mayo) plus our food was cooked to order. However any takeaway restaurant that calls itself a burger shack should sell a decent burger and they don't at least certainly not today. Standards are not what they once were. What I ate was a very cheap chewy beef burger. It is popular with the local campsite but then there is not much else open at the moment. I should have done a Supermac drive through on way home and will make a point of doing that next time I get peckish!

Nicest fish and chips I’ve had in a long time. Tasty batter that didn’t take away from the freshness of the flaky fish. My friends had really good burgers and they were the regular burgers but lots of filling and very tasty. My littlest friend had the kids popcorn chicken and chips and the portion was more than adequate. Service was very prompt and friendly, the premises was very clean and best of all the prices were great €25 for fish and chips, two burgers and one kids meal. Plenty of condiments offered too. Highly recommend

Got a feed there earlier today. Burgers and chips. It was absolutely awful. How is there now a quality burger joint in Strandhill.

Bacon cheeseburger tasted like home made ones from when I was a kid and I copied once in 40 years. melty cheese, well cooked , thinner burger and they did the bacon correctly. The fries have a unique and tasty flavor as does that cheese dipping sauce. that is.made in house. Ate there for first time today and yes, it was great.
