Shug's Pizza & Pub - Hendersonville

Large neighbourhood. my wife and I visit here frequently and love the owner, the staff and the food. the pizzas, sandwiches, wings, etc. were all very good, and the new owner is a roar. that is a point of sight in the neighbourhood, so that they see regular faces in the crowd and behind the theke. but stop, even if you're just going through. they will have a nice visit, and the excellent prizes will be even more.

Great day-to-day entertainment. this place belongs exactly where it is. and in reaction to another reviewer, thickerson street is not east nashville. gallatin road is the North-South corridor for East-Nashville!! lol

Trashy quantity, drunk abandoned intoxicated and drive, better pizza in the eckladen. dipping beer joint. belongs in east nashville or on thickerson road somewhere.

Still the best Pizza in Hendersonville!. The same pie maker that has been there since the beginning is still the one that's there now. It's the same oven, recipe's, cook and ingredients as it's been since it was Papa's. They've remodeled a bit and it's very clean. I eat there quite a bit and so do my friends, it's simply the best pizza in town and the beer is cold. I'm also very familiar with the staff and a lot of the patrons and no one is a thug.
