This is my place for quick Chinese takeout for 30 years. 2 months ago I bought her food for my 8 years old, which cost more than $200. but tonight was my amazed suppe broth and brokkoli with a very boiled canton. I called the manager and told him how disappointed I was, since that has never happened and asked if something has changed. I was told, nothing has changed, and everything has changed from the same pot and he cannot choose what goes into every bowl. he asked me if I could make a new suppe and come to get it. So I went back and waited quietly until it was my turn to not make one up. When he brought me my new suppe, he told me that it was what I wanted. I saw and saw that it was not all brokkoli and could thank him. then he hit his hand on the plastic sign before the register by expressing a sign and said special order no refund no exchange. I had to ask him to repeat it, and again he hit his hand on it, angry at me about it. I said his suppe just won and he said that is special order. what? I said I'm sorry I didn't know and went. Not even did he apologize for my amazed suppe Broccoli-Broth and if that's her policy, why they offered it on the phone and let me go there? I'm done. my two month average visits are available for my family of 10 and no more $200 events due to a $8 dish suppe. I find a new fast Chinese food place that will be nice and apologetic if they make a mistake and appreciate my loyal business.
Typically, her cooking is excellent. I’m not sure if they have a new chef or what, but the meal I had today was terrible. It tasted overcooked and unappetizing, almost greasy, lacking both flavor and acidity. I may give it another shot, but if it’s bad again, I won’t be returning.
The sign says they open at 10:30, but they don’t actually start serving until after 11. It's a family-owned restaurant, and it seems like the staff is pretty tired and not really eager to work or engage with customers. Their attitudes could use some improvement. However, the food is really good!
