Löyly Helsinki

This assessment applies to the sauna. We showed up a day without reservation, so were turned off when in high season pls reserve do. Sauna is a Finnish activity that everyone has to experience and if you are brave, then even try a bath in the cool sea water. For us we reserved another day and went back. They have separate dressing rooms for men and women, but the saunas together and thus dressing is expected (probably obligatory): There were 3 saunas, the traditional, a steam and another one from their sponsor. The steam and the spun were outside, while the traditional one was in the premises, which was also connected to the showers and a lounge with wood fired heating. The outdoor sauna is located at the steps that lead to the sea if you are brave enough for a bath. Each entrance receives a towel, locker and 2 hours of experience. In the lounge you can order drinks and food. The restaurant had a nice feeling / ambience to it and would also be great in summer with outdoor seating.

Nice place, amazing architecture, relaxed atmosphere and delicious menu. Especially I love their cocktails from Finnish ingredients. During summer time there is dj:s play music in the terrace and the place is then really popular. There is also really good sauna there you can swim around in the Baltic Sea year, even in winter.

Had an amazing sauna experience there. It’s a bit small but cozy. Quite clean as well. Loved the overall experience. Remember to bring slippers as well as your own swimsuit! We had dinner post the sauna and food was great too. Had a nice cheese burger. Highly recommended. Remember to book before going as it can get quite packed.

I loved the sauna experience in Loyly last winter, made friends with a few fins in the smoke sauna, the stairs leading to the sea is also heated in winter, making it easy to take a bath in the cold water and get back. The fireplace in the center is an excellent idea to add to a socialization with other people and share a drink! Would definitely go back to enjoy the experience!

Had a really nice afternoon in the Löly sauna. Came away feeling very relaxed and would recommend a visit if you are in Helsinki. Then in the bar, which was also nice, a drink remained.
