The service was good and the waiting staff were friendly, but the main issue was the long wait for our food. Despite the wait, no one checked on us and we had to seek out the waiters, who were, again, polite and courteous. The biggest disappointment was the food itself - tasteless and artificial. To make matters worse, both of us felt sick for the rest of the day, with upset stomachs and general nausea. Needless to say, we will not be returning to this restaurant in the future.
I had a delicious meal at this restaurant. I enjoyed the white fish starter, and the chateaubriand was flavorful and filling. The dessert was a bit underwhelming, but overall the staff was friendly and the atmosphere was cozy.
I had high hopes for a great lunch at this restaurant, but on Saturdays they only offer an à la carte menu. The appetizer was decent, but when our main dishes arrived, mine was not what I had ordered. My friends hesitated to start eating because we assumed the food would arrive soon, but their dishes were not even warm. We waited over 30 minutes with no food in sight, so I urged my friends to start eating. The waiter reassured us that our food would arrive shortly, but after about 10 minutes, I decided to cancel my order. Surprisingly, my cancelled dish of beetroot with cheese arrived over an hour later and was offered to me for free. As we neared the end of our reservation time, the waiter suggested we order dessert quickly since we only had a few minutes left.
Place did not live up to expectations overall. Food was nothing special, to be honest. At arrival we were asked if we wanted still or sparkling water as they were equal options. What they forgot to mention was that still water was for free, per bottle. Not really value for money, no need to go again.
We had heard many good things about this restaurant so we decided to book a table for PM for a Monday night. We expected the restaurant would not be that busy but were happily surpriced already at the door. Very nice ambience with waiters...walking around and customers of every age laughing and chatting everybody having a good time. Food was good, especially the sweetbreads with sauce gribiche, capers and cornichons. The main course was ok although not by any means exeptional but it was the that blew our minds and caused a trip to gratulate the kitchen. The waitresses and waiters who served us were incredibly attentive and friendly
