Banu Café - Helsinki

One of my favorite cafés in the city. the tee cake part I would be 5/5 hands down! but the food part could be improved somewhat. I would like to see some familiar satiating higher protein “Great Food” than here options.

Vegan power! All vegan, all good. Cozy, friendly and really warm! French music and english spoken here.

This happened last year, but wanted to warn people here in HappyCow, as this is the platform for us vegans. We were thrown out of the restaurant because the next party came 45 minutes early. The waiter didn't even ask us if it was ok, he just came to the table and said that, as the people who had the next reservation for our table came earlier, this happens. In the middle of us eating. I asked how long the reservation was, he said 90 minutes, so we were halfway. This has never happened to me in another restaurant in every country. I hope I'll never get back to this rude staff!

Amazing! I went to the vegan brunch on the weekend and everything was very delicious! You can see that the food is made with thorough care and love. The people working there are also very friendly. The only things is that the cafe is very small, so there might be not enough places sometimes.

The vegan brunch was extremely good, I especially liked the spinach tart and roasted eggplant dip. 20€ included a champagne flute of iced saffron tea and a latte/cappuccino/coffee/tea of your choice. (Note one item was vegetarian, not vegan)
