Kinsmoke - Healdsburg

The grill and cocktails here are excellent! The prime basket is spot on, especially the ribs. The sides are creative, featuring ground hush puppies and a delicious frigg. Overall, a fantastic experience!

We arrived about 7pm on a Wednesday with high expectations. The restaurant was busy both inside and outside and loud. The entrance isn't welcoming and was cluttered. OK, it's a BBQ joint and busy should be a good sign. We waited a good bit before our server came to our table. Ordering was quick and easy. Then, another long wait. I asked about our order. But, our server didn't know and sadly seemed uninterested. When our food was served it looked good. The plastic sauce cups cheapened the presentation. The St Louis ribs were OK as was the rest of our order. OK isn't what we were looking for. Wait staff appeared stressed and hurried. We tried the funnel cake dessert. Less funnel and more pretzel sticks with chocolate sauce. Maybe this was an off night. In the end, we left disappointed.

It was okay. It did not WOW me like other BBQ places i been to. Server never checked on us while we were there. The cabbage slaw was awful. I ordered the ribs and it was not the best. Normally ribs is smothered in bbq sauce. This was not the case. If you really want an authentic BBQ go somewhere else. Portion was to small for the price. Brussels spouts was burnt.

This is a fantastic casual dining BBQ restaurant located right off the town square. The food is outstanding, and the service is fast and efficient. Although they don't take reservations, diners can enjoy a smooth and quick experience.

I think I've been completely spoiled for any other grill that isn't KINsmoke, as this was one of the best experiences I've ever had. The atmosphere was laid-back and just right. The seal and ribs were unbelievably tender. The variety of table sauces enhanced everything beautifully. The flavorful and crispy hush puppies? Yes, please! Moist chicken and sweet cornbread? Absolutely. Thank you, KINsmoke. We will definitely be back! I've heard amazing things about your salmon, and we can't wait to try it.
