Chalkboard - Healdsburg

The food was outstanding. The eggs benedict with duck rillette was a brilliant update. The service was great. Unfortunately, we were there the last day of service until they change format. I understand they hope to reopen in June with a new format and menu. We look forward to checking them out.

Casual fine dining. Innovative food but not pretentious. Cocktail, wine, and Armagnac all excellent and well presented. Service was professional and friendly. Dined alone and did not feel singled out. A very nice meal.

I would say overall a lovely restaurant, but I was expecting more from the food. Some dishes were great but others fell short. The servers were very nice.It did take longer than we expected to eat about 90 mins total. That may have been for the on chef in the kitchen.

Good food with fresh ingredients. My salmon Benedict was great. The umami salad and compressed melon salad with was nothing to write home about. The burger was good, but the egg bake was not great.

Offensive service. 45 minutes to get water and drinks. Meals served 15 minutes apart.
