Metro Taquero - Hayward

Good burritos. I went here after the gym and got a giant super California burrito and a Pacifico and it hit me just right.

Metro was close to the hotel where I was staying, I only went there as it was within walking distance. It did not look promising and boy was I wrong! i ordered at the outside to go window, I was the only one in line that ordered in English, fortunately the staff speaks English as well. I had a chicken Quesadilla which was outstanding. The chicken was tender and very tasty, the sauces they offered (choice of 3) were all great. Bottom line, if you are in the area and like Mexican food give it a try, you won't go wrong.

S/O to the Mexican place in the eastern bay. Metro is one of the best spots to get Burritos. Whenever I have the chance to come by, I do. Your Tortas and Tacos are also delicious! There is a parking garage next to the restaurant and parking on the street. The parking garage is free as well as the street parking. The service is good, and there are many tables/seats to sit and eat.

Great value, especially on taco Tuesday. Good looking space with lots of windows overlooking B St.... Friendly service and I like the open concept kitchen.Great value. I went for $2 taco Tuesday because I had just come from the bank across the street. Beef and chicken tacos came with peppers, radish slices, lime wedges and two types of salsa red and green. Good looking space. I liked all the windows and overlooking the main street watching the characters walk by. Metal tabletops and things were very clean. Cooking toward the front and cashier in the back. Probably the opposite of the norm but I liked it. Friendly service and I liked how the person working there spoke very clearly and was easy to understand. On a Friday night this place gets busy but on an afternoon before the dinner rush there aren't that many people and service is quick. If I had to make any suggestions for improvement I would probably take the lemons and radishes out of the bag for plate presentation for people who dine in. Most people probably do take out so I understand but I like the way El Gordo does that.

Clean place good location but hiked all prices during pandemic and gives small portions.Food: 1/5
