The food here is delicious , it's Taiwanese and offers a different style of Asian food to the normal Chinese food in Haymarket . It's well priced and if you like Kim Chi you must try theirs, I loved it. You can get lunch for under $10 but it tastes so much fresher than a lot of the other take away places in the area.
SInce I was staying at a popular hostel nearby, it was a bit impossible to prepare my own meal at dinner time at a cramped kitchen; hence, most of the time, I ate at Taste of Cho at Market City. I usually have rice boxes with 2 different dishes; it costs $8.50, which is very good price and did not have the hassle to squeeze (or fight) for a place to cook at the hostel.
Basically the title says it all. I've gone here many times when I've wanted to get something quick and easy for lunch, but not the average burger/fries/pizza. It's delicious!
I regularly eat here with my children - it's one of our favourite places to stop by for snacks or meals. They have awesome cold noodles for only $6 a bowl - ask if you cannot see them in the display area. Their hot food is the best also. On the board beside the glass food cabinet is a poster advertising their meal deals...they really are excellent value for money.
