You get a selection of 3 different breads (crusty white, wholemeal, multigrain) and they toast it up for you subway style :) Banh mi tasted quite good, only downside is that the servers always seem to be preoccupied doing something else (playing on their phone) and you have to yell to get their attention.
Love eating here! Always good for a filling, tasty snack and good meal deals. The iced coffees aren't massive sizes, but well worth it! Always fresh and yummy rolls. Wish I could come here more often!
This place mainly serves the Vietnamese bread rolls ( Banh Mi, what else!!!). You have a choice of breads, I went for the grilled pork version in wholemeal bread. The bread is sliced and then slathered liberally with liver pate and butter. Then come the customary lettuce, slivers of carrot, spring onion, coriander, mint and chilli (if you wish). I did miss the pickled radish that is usually part of the proceedings elsewhere. I must say that I was a tad disappointed with the grilled pork. It was a pre-cooked skewer of minced pork that was simply reheated and slapped inside the roll. I was hoping the meat will be grilled fresh! Because the meat was reheated, I found it to be quite dry and this impacted the overall taste of the roll. The bread was nice and crusty as it should be, which was a relief. Overall, a passable banh mi experience.
