Chile Verde - Hawthorne

I've been dining at this restaurant for many years, but I'm really disappointed with the new enchilada sauce they've started using. Food: 2/5.

I visit this location often! The man and woman who have been here for years consistently provide excellent service. However, the younger lady who is newer sometimes has a bit of an attitude. Aside from that, I have no complaints. Food: 5/5

The tacos are consistently incredible, but the prices have gone up. Still, they are worth it. Food rating: 3/5.

After appliance shopping at Lowe's, we decided to try this spot. I wasn't expecting much, but we were pleasantly surprised. I ordered the shredded beef crunchy taco and shredded beef enchilada plate. It was very delicious. My husband had the wet burrito with carnitas, and he also raved about it. My kids had the taquito kids' plate, and they ate it ALL!!! The salsa is (looks like a salsa fresca) was bomb!!! We look forward to trying more items off the menu. Customer service was 10/10. I'm not sure why this place has bad reviews. Maybe we came on a good day.
