Found this neat little Italian restaurant on a stroll from the Capitolio. It is very close by and easy to get to, which was a major plus for my group of friends. Unfortunately the restaurant is very small so there isn't much space if you come in a big group the way we did. We had to wait outside for quite a while before we were able to be seated and a family with a baby stroller struggled to also find space to tuck their child. The food options are great. I ordered a lasagna and a four season pizza and they were both super delicious. The server was very nice and she spoke English as well, even though we all spoke Spanish it is a nice option to have for other travellers. The kitchen is open so you are able to watch your food being prepared, however the restaurant did lose stars for us after we caught a glimpse of a cockroach running on the rolling pin. Fortunately we already ate so it didn't spoil our appetite or take away from the experience before we saw that but I'm a little hesitant to revisit due to hygiene purposes. Maybe it was just a one time thing since I'm sure all inner city restaurants struggle with those pests but it is definitely a deterrent for me.
The best pizza we had in Havana. Thin crust and generous toppings. A lot of variety. Highly recommended
Wow. I mean everyone has their preferences for pizza but this was so on point. Both pizzas we ordered were perfectly done. Great small Italian restaurant vibe. Bravo!!
Though the design of the restaurant is not the best one, pasta and pizza we tried were really good. Also the guys are very helpful and attentive!
