El Idilio - Havana

The food is very good and made with passion. Prices are not inexpensive, but are very fair to the quality of food and food. I spend many evenings in this restaurant and was never disappointed. The place is just outside and have very nice garden in a beautiful neighborhood. Well done! Only Heineken beer... I even prefer the beer from Cuba.

It took a long time to sit (approx. 830) but I could enjoy a few beers while waiting. Cool atmosphere, feels like you're on a neighbor's terrace. Food was good and cheap for tourists. The Focaccia was excellent. As good as I preferred it to the lobster. One of the best things I had in Cuba during my week.

Super beautiful and cozy place hidden on a small cross-section of av Presidente. From outside, what is called attention is the smell, and if you don't pay attention, you can't say where it comes. Reservations are preferred although we were lucky to get the only table unbooked. Food was great! We had parrillada, white rice, beans and mixed salad. The house made chimichurri was fabulous and so was quite everything else. The beans have different spices then what I am used to, it has a lot of cumin and peppers and you taste them at every bite. Both sausages were great. One was a chorizo and the other is regularly Spanish. Chorizo was slightly spicy, but not excessively powerful. Beef was good, but close to everything else fade in the plate. Pigmeat and chicken had great taste of coal. And I almost forgot to mention the tombstones with ropa vieja as an entry, simply amazing.

One of the best spots we ate in this area. Wide selection of food, great atmosphere and great service. The ravioli was yuuuummm
