Cafe El Escorial - Havana

I think the typical tourist restaurant in the old town is an insurmountable description. When we went, they didn't have vegan options for which they're ready, so they pulled the cheese out of a salad and a pizza. There's not much more to add.

I've eaten here three times in 2019. eating was delicious and healthy with several vegan options listed. it was on the expensive side, but it is in the middle of a tourist opposite that is expected. I was back in January 2022. all vegan items have been removed from the menu and they have no longer available hummus. they are ready to make them a sweet salad and the eggs and cheese for the same price as the full salad on the menu. they also have a cheese and vegetables sandwich that they are ready to remove the cheese. However, they have nothing like hummus to replace the cheese that sounds like a very bland sandwich. I would add the other options in the opposite, the still vegan food on the menu. Hopefully with the tourism that opens in Cuba, they will be able to add vegan food back to the menu. vegetables

Lemonade in cucumbers and lemons is indeed excellent. courteous staff, instead. I ate a humus sandwich, olives and excellent tomatoes

I went to this place to twice while I was in Havana. I really enjoyed the Bruschetta and the sandwich with hummus, lettuce, tomato, and olives. A good deal in a great location!

Perfect location for people watching if you sit out front. In the back near the restaurant it's a little bit quieter. This restaurant is so tasty, with plenty of vegan options. The staff are hilarious! Very well informed on the menu and happy to answer questions about the restaurant or offer directions. The food was excellent. Great sandwiches, hummus and crudites, soups, roasted veggies and juices. I had a mint, pineapple medley that was very refreshing.
