No kids please! Make the kids stay on the hotel said this isn't right I come here to get away from my own kids. NO KIDS PLEASE!

Once we entered the buffet area, everything looked and smelled fantastic, just like we remembered. However, after sitting down, my partner was already dissatisfied, mentioning that some of his favorite dishes, including the fried chicken, were below expectations. I decided to try the chicken as well, and I had to agree— it wasn't good at all. As I sampled other items, I started feeling sick, and when my partner stated he wasn't feeling well and would meet me in the car, I knew things weren’t looking good. This was particularly alarming since he usually has a strong stomach. Feeling disappointed with my meal and increasingly nauseous, I decided to leave and head home, expecting my condition to worsen since I’m sensitive to stomach issues. And unfortunately, I did end up getting very ill later that evening. That was definitely a second strike! Since we left in such a hurry, I didn’t get to discuss our concerns with anyone at the buffet, so I decided to email the casino. To my surprise, no one reached out to address my concerns or offer any apology. About a week later, I called and spoke with one of the buffet managers. While she did offer an apology, it felt halfhearted, and she started to make light of the situation. She suggested that I should have raised my concerns at the time and mentioned that she was not aware of any other complaints from that day, implying I was mistaken about what we had eaten. I found her response quite disappointing and unprofessional—definitely strike three. I sincerely hope that our experience was just an isolated incident and not the new norm for Sycuan Casino and Paipas Buffet, especially since they recently raised the prices. Thankfully, as an Elite Club member, we receive a 50% discount; otherwise, I would be even more upset about how quickly we spent money just to leave after a few minutes due to the food making us ill. There really is no excuse for not addressing customer concerns, and even less so for a manager to make light of a situation where someone becomes ill after dining at their establishment. I hope that in the future, you will take the time to respond to your customers’ concerns and ensure that the quality of your food is consistently high.
