Charles Seafood - Harahan

When I approached, I was first intrigued by the aroma of the seasoned cooked. The atmosphere is cozy, very comfortable, personal and family-oriented; everyone who greeted me had a smile and was friendly and attentive. The corn and crab soup was tasty and the boiled cancer was tasteful and well seasoned. I would recommend this place, and I will try other articles again.

A hidden jewel. From the outside it doesn't look like that, but inside is a paradise for seafood lovers. Has been several times, and has quickly become one of my favorite Go to spots for lunch. Had the Shrimp Grits, Top Notch. Charles seafood is plated enough for two people, and very tasty. Would recommend this to everyone in the city to visit in contrast to the more commercial seafood sites. You're gonna get better food and stretch your dollar. Finally... don't go without trying the Praline Bread Pudding. Excellent!

Oh, my God, I'll make sure I'm here every time. The service is as good it feels like family, every single thing on the menu is delicious (e.g. the raw oysters that are half the dozen of each tues/wed, taste fresh and are huge; the seafood plate reliably feeds the soul; the rubberbo is not too salty, my usual complaint in other places; Even the Cole Slav is big, not too much mayonnaise and not. Since it's so informal, it's easy to bring family or friends. I really enjoy the relaxed mood and fun Bajo/NOLA decor. Very reasonable price, and today our server even gave us extra oysters because they noticed that some were small. I'm not an athlete, but I can see that it's also a great place for it. All thumbs up.

We went to a Wednesday night and it was full and loud. We had a party of 9 without problems. The food was excellent and the staff was very pleasant. We brought a birthday cake and they accommodated us easily.

We were looking for seafood, and happened upon this spot. Doesn't look like much from the outside, but we were pleasantly surprised when we entered. This is a very nice little spot, with a semi- upscale feel. Service is fast and friendly. Not terribly expensive, and the food is really good.
