Restaurant Kumkapi - Hannover

Very nice food and service... but overcrowded in weekends ... need to upgrade space....

Perhaps a good place for those who like fish. It has a decent choices in the menu, but food taste is not proportional to the price. Not vegetarian friendly and some of the menu items were not available. Further, they are hesitant to accept credit cards and prefer cash.

The air was really bad inside due to the smooking room next to it. Cannot say anything about the food as we left early.

We were in this week for a fair in hannover. we went to this Turkish restaurant to eat fish. service is very good and very friendly. we had a plate with different turksih specialities than starter and I took a fish as main dish (seabass). was excellent. only note, Visa card machine did not work this evening.

On a side street is this Turkish restaurant. the decor maybe a little kitsch, but eating was really good. service was pleasant and efficient and they even have an enlgish language menu. the Aubergine salad was really good, like the filled babysquid....My mixed grill was chicken stable, lambskin, cattleburger, lambskin cup and chicken legs served with fries and salat. the quality of the meat was very good and you could say that it had been grilled over coal. not sure why, but the pommes were excellent. the only negatiw was the live singer who was a bit too loud for what is not a very big restaurant.
