Donau Grill - Hannover

We ordered three starters between the three of us and shared those.Starters were good. We had mixed olives, a platter with cold meats and cheese and tzaziki. Only problem was that our mains arrived before we'd finished our starters.The fries/Pommes were over cooked to me, so I left those.But the meat was good: I had a skewer with red pepper, onion and grilled pork. A pork 'burger' and then gyros style pork as well. The 'Zigeuner' sauce was average.There is also a salad bar, but by the time I'd finished the starters (which we shared) and had eaten the main, I no longer fancied a side salad.Note: I don't use much salt in my cooking at home and therefor find most of the food in Germany quite salty. All in all the meal was standard-OK. Nothing extra-ordinary. Would I come back? Maybe. There are other local restaurants to try first.

Eat very delicious, inexpensive and large portions. We like to eat here and come back, of course. Staff very friendly and very clean.

For more than 20 years, the restaurant of my choice, when it comes to Yugoslavian cuisine. Food top, staff always nice and friendly, cheap, tasty. What else do you want? Actually, at least 6 out of 5 possible stars. I'm looking forward to the next time.
