Longhorn Steakhouse - Hampton

I must say this place has always been just a go grab something place for me. I did not take pictures of my main dishes as I was sidetracked by the fighting amongst the staff. Where they loudly disagreeed, and the one gentleman had to remind the young lady his name was not bruh. They are slow, and you have to double check your To go orders. Just somewhere to grab something.

Last night, we went out for dinner around 6:30 PM with two other couples. A few of us wanted baked potatoes while a couple of others preferred sweet potatoes. Unfortunately, we were informed that none were ready and it would take at least 20 minutes to prepare them. We had to choose a different side instead, which was disappointing since we’ve never encountered this issue at a steakhouse before. The filet mignons were good, and the service was attentive, but not having any baked potatoes left us feeling quite unsatisfied!

I can only honestly give this place a 2-star rating for the food and a 4-star rating for the service. My wife brought me here on the 11th to celebrate my birthday. We waited at the bar until our table was ready, which was fine. When we sat down, our waiter was really friendly, and the bread served was warm and soft. I ordered the Longhorn steak while my wife opted for the steak and shrimp combo. Unfortunately, the food was excessively salty. We had ordered our steaks medium-well, but my wife's was still a bit undercooked. We chose not to complain since it was my birthday and we were enjoying our evening, but I couldn't eat my steak. So we decided to box it up and leave. I usually believe in giving places a second chance, but I can't afford to take too many risks. It's unfortunate, but I won't be returning here. I've also heard from a couple of friends who had similar experiences. Longhorn, you need to step up your game—when people choose to spend their money with you, it's your responsibility to deliver quality food!

So we had this today and was very disappointed. I asked for a 8 oz sirloin cooked medium and unfortunately the steak was undercooked. I tried to eat it however after one bite I decided to send it back. Now I know heat is applied and it's safe but I was very disturbed that they put it back on the grill and cooked it. They then served the same steak which I am not used to however I rarely send food back. The overall problem was the steak was small but almost round which I am sure makes it much more difficult to cook. That doesn't excuse a steakhouse that can't cook a medium steak or the fact that no management followed up after I sent it back. Maybe this is the new standard for restaurants but it certainly shouldn't be.

Amazing lunch with my best girlfriend! Absolutely a good choice! Food was excellent and service was superior! Our server Kristine was training a new server, Art. Both were amazing! Will definitely be returning for this seller service and delicious choices in the near future! Bravo!
