Fuller's Raw - Hampton

My wife and I have visited this restaurant several times, and I have to say the food has consistently been excellent. My wife always orders the same dish—a Caesar salad topped with fried oysters—and she absolutely loves it. I've tried a variety of items on the menu, and they've all been fantastic, especially the generous portions of fish and chips. The staff is extremely friendly, and I appreciate the historical connection to the old Fullers restaurant. It's a charming local spot that we really enjoy!

Truly a hidden gem in Downtown Phoebus! This local raw bar is fantastic, and I've yet to have a meal that didn't impress me. On this visit, we started with pierogis and 12 peach tree oysters. Since Tuesday is $1 oyster day, I couldn't resist taking advantage of the special. This was my first time trying pierogis—potato dumplings filled with blue crab. The presentation of the pierogis was stunning, and the flavors offered here provide an extraordinary experience. The atmosphere is top-notch, making it a must-visit for seafood lovers. What a great place in Phoebus VA, just out of Hampton VA and a great little find. We parked on the street and went in, a very busy Friday evening and waited about ten minutes as there were six of us. Our server was very knowledgeable with the menu and also asked about dietary requirements, he got our drinks while we all made our meal choices. My wife and I shared the shrimp and snow crab leg combo that came with potatoes, corn etc when it came, it was amazing, plenty of food and a great choice. I would definitely recommend this place. There are daily specials, oysters from various locations, a great beer choice and also a full service bar if you like that. The jambalaya and steamed shrimp are really good. The raw oysters are fresh. The waiter was really nice.

I love raw oysters and several years ago I had what I thought was going to be my all-time best raw oyster experience when visiting Newport Rhode Island. Fuller's raw bar has surpassed my experience there and is now my new best raw oyster experience. Every oyster was not only delicious but also perfectly shucked and cleaned. The very first oyster I tasted was absolutely perfect.The waitress was very nice and took excellent care of me. Interior was super cute and clean. If I lived here I'd be in Fullers at least twice a week.
