Sono Japanese Portside Wharf - Hamilton

Due to COVID, Sono has reduced the size of their menu. However, this does not diminish the fact that their service and food quality remain among the best in Japanese cuisine in Brisbane. The customer service is exceptional, and the atmosphere is wonderful. I will definitely return!

SONO is the best Japanese restaurant in Brisbane. The service and food are both outstanding. This isn't our first visit, and it definitely won't be our last. I highly recommend it!

Thank you for an incredible anniversary dinner! You accommodated us at the last minute, which we truly appreciate. The sashimi and beef tataki were outstanding, as were the oysters and karaage chicken. The sake was fantastic as well. This is a wonderful place for dinner!

I’ve been twice now. Both times were outstanding. The best quality Japanese I’ve had in Brisbane. Although quite expensive, it’s well worth it. Staff are all so lovely. <br/ <br/ One visit was for my brother’s 18th birthday. I let them know when I booked online. They surprised him (and me! when they brought out dessert while singing happy birthday. The dessert even had a sparkler on it. <br/ <br/ The aburi platter is a must. I don’t usually eat much wagyu but the wagyu aburi was just incredible. The teriyaki and karaage chicken dishes are so tender easily the best I’ve had. <br/ <br/ On a different visit, I shared a bento box with my cousin, along with a few other dishes. Every mouthful was divine. I love how many different flavours and dishes come on the bento box. <br/ <br/ I’m looking forward to going again!!
